ARCH102 First Assignment 01.

We started off our second semester by visiting some of the structures given and examining the architectural decisions made during their design process. We were assigned to sketch our visit while evaluating on how the buildings we visited affected our experience in terms of time, movement and feeling.

Later on, with as01.2, we were assigned to make a proposal that shows how various traits and pieces of a structure can control our movement either by tresholds, shadows, lights, transparent surfaces or stairs. This time, unlike the previous assignment, we also examined how some architectural elements like stairs, elevators, bridges and openings all aim to connect different parts of the entirety; although in some instances the experience we have with each of them may vary.
